Design And Display
The smartphone comes with an unusual Display aspect ratio (18:9). The LG G6 comes with a large 5.7-inch Quad HD+ (2,880 x 1,440 resolution) FullVision display, and for the first time ever in a smartphone has an unusual 18:9 screen aspect ratio.

Performance
As expected and rumored LG G6 misses on the next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Chipset which will come with the Samsung S8. The smartphone is powered by the current fastest Snapdragon 821 Processor clocked at 2.4 GHz along with the Adreno 530 GPU. Smartphones like Google Pixel and the much cheaper OnePlus 3T also come with the same chipset. It could be a deal breaker for many enthusiasts and performance junkies.
LG has also not added 6 GB of Ram which was expected of them, they have 4 GB of Ram with the LG G6. The smartphone comes in 2 storage options with 32 GB and 64 GB storage and option to expand the device storage using a Micro-SD card upto 2 TB.
Camera
Camera is the highlight of the device apart from the unusual display. There are Dual rear camera both with 13 Mega pixel resolution. The first camera comes with a f/2.4 aperture lens and has 125 degree wide angle view to capture the breadth of the image.
The second camera in the setup has a more standard f/1.8 aperture with 71 degree wide angle lens. Both the camera working together along with the image signal processor to take great shots. For recording stable videos the camera comes with Optical Images Stabilization 2.0.

Battery And Sound
Last but not the least the 5.7 inch display needs a lot of power which is supplied by the non-removable 3300 mAH capacity battery. Which LG says in cheeky way is quite safe and non-explosive and has been thoroughly tested by the company.
The smartphone can charge to 100% in about 1:30 minutes which is quite impressive. The sound was great with the LG V20 and the tradition continues with the LG G6 – it comes with a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC.
Overall there are some really positive things to talk about the LG G6 and there are some low points like not able to add the Snapdragon 835 and 6 GB RAM. Otherwise the LG G6 looks promising and we will share more insights once the beauty lands on the Indian shores.
